BSI (Brilliance Semiconductor Inc) is a professional LOW POWER SRAM design company that was founded in 1996. Even until now, with our tireless efforts, we are still focusing on the research and development of LOW POWER SRAM with 256 Kbit to 16Mbit capacity, and the whole product series is available for limited commercial production. Hence, we are one of few suppliers with pioneering technology. While the production of MPW (Multi-Project Wafer) is currently taking place at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing in Singapore; the packaging and testing are being outsourced to a few international heavyweight manufacturers such as: ASE Group, Amkor, etc. The quality of our products has been given profound approval and recognition by customers.

 

Product Information

SRAM (Static Random Access Memory)

It is a type of semiconductor memory, which consists of six transistors for each bit. With the significant short access time and increases on the manufacturing costs, it is mainly used as cache memory. Given the fact that it has often been used for cache memory, SRAM is also known as “Cache RAM”, the electric conductivity of transistor in a storage cell is utilized for data storage. 

The mutual couple transistor is the base of SRAM design, which further helps to prevent the problem of discharging electricity in a capacitor. Data can be directly retained without the need to constantly recharge the unit, in other words, without going through the process of updating the memory. As result, this is so called SRAM (Static Random Access Memory).

1.      Wide Range Voltage:

The most prominent feature of BSI, on the other hand, BSI is also the only brand in the market with such special feature. “Wide Range Voltage” can be classified into 2 models: the work voltage for BS series is 2.4V~5.5V and the work voltage for BH series is 1.7V~3.5V.

 

 

BSI is one of a few suppliers that has memory with a capacity of 16M and is available for limited commercial production. The advanced technology is also available to pack two into 32M.
